The music

There is something in the low frequencies that the body understands before the mind does. In a world that fights for your attention, that's a relief.

Damian Coccio is a Bassist and ASCAP artist who has been playing bass guitar since he fell in love with it decades ago. Over the past fifteen years he has focused entirely on solo bass — meditative, unhurried music rooted in the low frequencies.

An endorsing artist for Fodera Guitars, he has built his own basses and audio electronics for over thirty years. His music is an emotional and inspirational journey for the listener.

Listeners

We listen to you every morning. Inspiring. Thank you.

Your music makes me feel happy and peaceful. Everyone at home and at work always listens.

You don't push it — you let the sound decide what it wants to be, on its own terms. Very, very good work.

It isn't about 64th notes. It's about finding a way to express your soul directly through your instrument.

Your album is really fantastic. This is music I can see myself listening to for years.

Lots of great musicianship, hooky melodies and rhythms. I'm on my 3rd listen. Well done!

I love the dynamics and use of space in your music. The best solo bass albums I've heard.

Your music really speaks to me. Thank you Damian for your calm creativity.

I do love playing your music on my show!

Un album imperdibile!
